Ursaline Bryant

Actress, Instructor, Director

Ursaline is indigenous to the '10x10 Square' known as Washington, D.C., our Nations' Capital, where her career as a Wearable Artist began.  She left for New York to pursue her interest in the industry of fashion where she was represented by the  newly formed Black Beauty Agency and ultimately signed with the prestigious Wilhelmina Agency.  She has also been on the roster of Nina Blanchard and Cunningham & Associates.

While modeling, Ursaline walked the runway for some of the nation's top designers and appeared on the pages of magazines, on billboards and in television commercials.  Although she enjoyed the realm of fashion, she realized the need to fulfill the challenge of exploring her creative dramatic instincts as a Performing Artist, which lead her to the Negro Ensemble Company where she began her study in the Art of Acting.   She later moved to Los Angeles, California to establish her career, which led to appearances on "Star Trek:  The Next Generation," "Seinfeld," the NBC-TV Emmy award winning series, "Golden Girls," and other episodic television as well as appearing in film.  Ursaline Continues to hone her craft by appearing on stage in theatrical productions.

As a Teaching Artist, Ursaline feels that each of us has been given a special and natural gift of grace.  Her goal is to assist our youth to explore and ascertain this treasure through the use of multiple intelligence, creative discipline and human values.

When Ursaline is not performing or teaching, she serves as a national spokesperson and director for the Black Inventors & Scientists Museums, Inc. She fills her need for continued knowledge and enlightenment by collaborating with organizations that promote wholistic practices, community based interests and world wide travel.
