Ancient Divine Principles Uniting Generations
The history of the Muurs and Moors is well documented on one level,
yet remains a murky mystery on many other planes of understanding.
The origins, ideologies, and traditional practices of indigenous Washitaw Muurs
are very different from some segments of the Moorish Science Temples in 2016.
The diversity of people who recognize their Moorish roots, especially in America,
is increasing rapidly. As more become conscious, the masses will unity in harmony.
Those extreme, negative elements will remain aloof, as witnessed throughout society.
The people are all of one Almighty Creator. The groups are divided by man-made
distinctions based on a variety of ethnic, religious, social, and political differences.
In the past, these differences prevented collective work toward securing the
common, mutual necessities of all communities, nations and states.
The facts are sometimes relevant and subject to whom you ask, and
which period of time you are exploring. The labels: African American, colored,
negro, black, Asiatic, Negrito, Marikano, Morro, Mohawk, Moore, Moor, Mauro etc...
have been used to divide the ancient indigenous people called Muurs (Mr.,Mrs., Mister, Monsieur, Ms., MS ). A Muur is a human being, original dweller of Muu. Muu loosely is a call for peace, for solace. The ancient ones inhabited a tranquil land called Muu. [Some fancy Mu sank in the Pacific (Peaceful) Ocean. And we came up in the Wash!] The Washas, descendants of the ancient, pre-paleo inhabitants of the Washita/Ouachita Valley, the children of Muu- indigenous mound builders the Muurs, were the peace makers, sharing the peace pipe.
The Moors of North Africa are most commonly referenced in western writings. The name Moor, or some derivative thereof, has classically been used in Europe for the dark-skinned, swarthy olive-toned, melanin-rich people. These were mainly the Moors from Africa and other Semitic travelers, teachers, merchants and clerics who colonized Europe during the dark ages and built the first universities, irrigation systems and libraries that ushered in the European Renaissance.
Based in the Iberian Peninsula (modern day Spain, Portugal and southern France), the Moors inhabited and restored civilization to Eurasia, up into Bavaria (Germany), Denmark and the British Isles for over 700 years. Angelo Soliman, Alexander Dumas, Pushkin of Russia and St. Maurice of Germany are but a few examples of Moors (Mohrs) who influenced Europe in its early development.
Hayden, Beethoven and St. Georges- “The Black Mozart” are all men with Moorish heritage who played significant roles in the advancement of Classical music.
Again, there are numerous books on the history of Moors.

Today, one legacy of the Moors in America is carried on by
members of the Moorish Science Temple of America (M.S.T.A.)
True and faithful members follow the teachings of
the founder and most Honorable Prophet Noble Drew Ali.
There are countless books and writings about this great
Moorish American leader, but I would recommend first
reading his own writings. The best known writings of
Prophet Noble Drew Ali
is his Circle 7 Holy Koran of the Moorish Science Temple.
Today, there may be 1,000’s of autonomous temples, tribes, synagogues, trusts and nations of Moors who still faithfully follow some form of his teachings. Our common principles are:

There are many legends about the early life of the Honorable Prophet Noble Drew Ali. Certainly there is much disagreement and trivial divisions between some followers. Whatever one accepts matters not, without the organized actions to carry on his legacy of work.

Based on my research, experiences and personal observations, it is clear that our prophet is a noble sun of the Washitaw Empire, born Timothy Drew of the Drew Family of Drew, Louisiana, in the heart of the Washitaw Proper, near the banks of the Washitaw / Ouachita River.

During the Washitaw meetings hosted by the Empress
in the mid 1990‘s, many people were blessed with
the opportunity to visit the Drew family homestead,
take lots of photographs, and ask lots of questions
to the Prophet’s niece, the late Bessie Sullis,
the daughter of Correta Drew( Timothy Drew’s sister).
Cousin Bessie still lived in the Drew home at that time.
Here is one notable difference between Muurs and Moors-
The Washitaw Muurs are the ancient ones. Muurs, true and faithful, are indigenous to the Washitaw Lands, consisting today of America’s heartland from Louisiana at the Gulf of Mexico, out along the rivers and tributaries that flow from the Mississippi River. The ancient Moorish name for America is Amexem. Today, Muurs are awakening to take our place back on the land, as the Creator’s original stewarts. We surely know, at one time, all the lands were once together without today’s boundaries. As we enter a new age of enlightenment, the righteous shall again inherit the earth and the unjust shall be afraid.
Muurs are the ascendants of the indigenous earthen pyramid builders known as the lost culture of mound builders in pre-historic America.
Washitaw Muurs have our own flag.

Moors claim allegiance to the Moorish Flag and political ties to the
North African nation of Morocco, sharing the same flag. The teachings
of the M.S.T.A. honor the Moorish flag and American flag. Members
faithful to the teachings are Moorish American nationals, Asiatics.
Much of this can be better understood in context with the treaties signed
between the Moorish and American governments, following the
American revolution, that distinguished Moors from negro captives.
There are dozens of books that attempt to explain Moorish history and Moorish science.
(*Caution* There are a few people who claim to be Moors who are just trying to capitalize on the ignorance of others by claiming to sell them their freedom, sovereignty or nationality.
Beware and ask questions! There are several honorable organizations of Muurs and Moors throughout this land who can help re-educate you. Knowledge of self is the first stage of awareness. We shall cultivate a network to link all enlightened people together again, regardless of nationality or current location. )
In his historical work, When Rocks Cry Out, Horace Butler reveals the fact that some Mayans and other pre-historic natives of Latin America were also Moors. The Spanish invader,
Hernando Cortez, murdered thousands of Olmecs and other Afrikan/Asiatic Moors
on his genocidal conquest for gold, power and land in prehispanic Mexico.
The evidence of ancient mound builders as far south as Peru is documented fact.
Again we state, we are all one people, save one’s state of mind.
Please note, not all Moors claim Washitaw Muur roots.
Many Moors can trace their roots back to Morocco
(Amexem / Alkebu-lan) today called Africa, India,
Micronesia, Far East Asia and the Middle East.
Millions more were kidnapped and imported as chattel workers
during the European-lead African Slave Trade ‘Hellacost’ of the Middle Passage.
This destruction of African civilizations did not separate the
souls of the people. We have survived the 400 years of the
Willie Lynch Era. We are all still one. Divide and conquer
only worked for so long. Once we save our youth from violence,
illiteracy & self destruction, we can begin to advance the generations.
Love, Virtue & Harmony are the lessons to teach now. To be a Dignified, Noble People again.
I realize many people are not ready for this type of diametrically opposed development. Self-esteem is the product of a positive mindset and a loving, supportive, environment.
As it was in the beginning of time....
The ancient ones have returned to make peace and guide the people to universal prosperity. Our unity, faith and collective works are the missing links to save the world.
Salvation is our duty.
Washitaw Muurs, Washas, the oldest recorded mound builders of the lower Messchaceebee (Mississippi) River Valley, have indigenous roots in the Washita (Ouachita) and de Dugdahmoundyah River basins, in the bayous near the sacred, earthen pyramid mounds of Louisiana, Mississippi and Arkansas.
Muurs are the original people of earth(Mu). We have no beginning nor an ending. Our Creator grants us life-everlasting. Yes, we are those people!
